Katherine Van Dyck
Anti-Monopoly & Consumer Advocate
Katie has transformed her experience litigating in courtrooms across the United States into advocacy for policies that dismantle outsized corporate power and improve victims’ access to justice. She writes and speaks about the importance of competition and how economic concentration leads to increased prices for consumers, depressed wages for the workforce, and the shuttering of small businesses. Her work across public, private, and non-profit sectors has led to significant recoveries for victims and positive changes to our legal systems.
Katie is currently a research fellow with Towards Justice and American Economic Liberties Project, where she is researching how corporate power has influenced courtroom procedures and eroded the right to a jury trial that is guaranteed by the Seventh Amendment. She is available to consult on policy initiatives and assist with amicus briefs and other litigation-focused projects.
